The Garmin Panoptix all-seeing sonar presents a unique electronic live view providing an all-around underwater picture in real-time. Panoptix allows the viewer to see fish in the water column in 3D, or watch a lure cast into the water and view as it is retrieved.
The Panoptix PS30 Down Transducer is equipped with an internal Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) sensor that constantly adjusts sonar beams to compensate for boats motion. The Panoptix range of transducers are compatible with Garmin''s GPSMAP 8000/8500 series and GPSMAP 7x1, 74x0, 8x0, and 10x0 series chartplotters, as well as the echoMAP 70s and echoMAP 70dv.
The Garmin Panoptix Down transducer delivers three remarkable clear real-time views, LiveVu Down, RealVu 3-D Down and RealVu 3-D Historical, providing clear pictures of fish and bait swimming under the vessel. It allows the viewer to see fish in the water column in 3D, from the bottom to the surface, even while stationary.
LiveVu Down provides real-time moving sonar images below the boat. LiveVu Down accurately presents small baitfish and large target fish swimming around and pinpoints their distance left or right along with their depth.
RealVu 3D Historical provides the user a wealth of sonar data. It scrolls through the data as the boat moves to show the history of entire water columns, from the bottom to the surface and all of the fish in between. Bottom contours and fish are represented in vivid colour as well as in three dimensions.
RealVu 3D Down digitally scans the area below the boat from front to back and from side to side. A full 3D view of the area under the boat is constructed, showing bottom contour changes, fish and structure. Allows the boat to be stationary while still providing a high contrast 3-D view around the vessel with history that is only 1 sweep.
